Hello dear readers, thank you for your constant readership. It never ceases to amaze me that people read my work at all, let alone come back for more!
You’ve probably noticed that my output has been spotty lately, and this is for a few reasons. First and foremost, I finished up my very first feature film, and the post-production/press hustle has been time consuming. Secondly, my day job has been drastically altered due to global trade reasons (I lament that a president can have this much of a direct effect on my life, and I will never forgive MAGA for the hell they’ve wrought on our country), resulting in a severe case of brain drain.
Thirdly, and this is why I’ve made this post, I’ve fallen victim to a series of persistent medical issues which have cost me tremendous amounts of money. Long story short: an ER visit plus a colonoscopy, neither of which are covered by my insurance (god bless America!) have set me back financially in a substantial way. As such, I’ve put together a gofundme with additional details on what I’m dealing with. Times are tough for all of us, but if you have a few bucks to spare, I would greatly appreciate it, and it would help take the edge off of my current situation.
